Why do you play football?

I play football not just for fun but for life lessons and meeting new people. The one thing football has really taught me is no matter how hard you get hit or the number of times you fall down you need to get up and keep pushing forward.

What has been your best memory from football so far?

My best memory in football so far is first stepping on the field as a Sophomore, nervous as can be to be running the ball for the very first time and my teammate turns to me telling me the exact words, “You got this”.

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

My favorite pro athlete I look up to is Muhhamad Ali, the way he lived his life and the lifestyle he chose drives me to want to be like him. One of his famous quotes being this. “Float like a butterfly, Sting like a bee” meaning be light on your feet but hit hard.

Who is your biggest fan and why?

My biggest fan is probably my mom, she tells me I can do anything if I put in my heart, soul, and mind to it. She drives me to keep my chin up no matter how many times it falls.

Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?

I look up to Stephan Ripkia, he just recently committed to PSU for football and is my cousin. He has a very good head between his shoulders being smart, disciplined, and tough and not only physically but mentally.

What is your desired major in college?

My desired major in college is Criminal Justice because I would like to study that and play football in college.

Coming off a year with COVID struggles, what do you think this year will be like?

I think this year will be a much bigger improvement without having many restrictions and still having a good state of mind no matter what comes up.

Favorite play to run?

My favorite play to run isn’t much of a play, but kickoff is my favorite because everyone has to do their assigned job to succeed and stop them from getting a scoring kick return.

What is your personal goal for this season?

My personal goal for the season is to get 1% better every day and keep a healthy mind all season.

Favorite pre-game meal?

My favorite pre-game meal is probably mac n cheese with the sloppy joes, a lot of calories along with carbs.

Sports movie?

23 Blast is the best sports movie out there and is personally my favorite.

Sport you’d love to play but can’t?

I would honestly love to play lacrosse but we don’t have a school team and it is during football season.

Most embarrassing sports moment?

My most embarrassing sports moment is probably hanging my head when something bad happens and not keeping that healthy mindset. Many sports require you to be focused to play on target and if you aren’t focused then how will you play.

What are you looking forward to most this year?

I am looking forward to collaborating as a team and getting better.

Favorite activities?

Favorite activities outside of football are my two other sports and being around with the guys.
