When you’re a lineman with Westmont you have to be several things: nimble, strong, quick and athletic. Blake checks all those boxes, plus, he’s usually one of the bigger men on the line. Coach Pat Barron says “Blake is a very physical and athletic lineman. He is a three year starter and is a major player in our offense and defense”.

Why do you play football?

To build friendship on and off the field and represent my school.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Mark Andrews because he is also a type one diabetic

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

The last play of the Forest Hills game this year. We came back from down 14 in the fourth quarter and forced a fumble inside the 10

What was last years season like for you?

We finished 4-6

What are your goals for this coming season?

To win the new and improved LHAC

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

Mercury Swaim

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

Empower Field

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Denver Broncos

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

Super Bowl 50 Broncos vs Panthers, because the broncos won the game.

Describe what the perfect teammate is

Someone who is willing to get it there all every play and is willing to help it’s teammates throughout every situation

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

I think it builds character and bonds that are in breakable

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

My parents because they motivate me to keep going everyday

What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?

I love spider drills and hate pursuits.

I would say Coach Barron because through everything he will always stay by my side

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

I like to play video games

What is your favorite football memory to date?

When i scored my first and only touchdown in 8th grade

My teammate David Ray brought me to an Penn State Football game

I watched the Steelers vs Ravens in 2013
