State College Has Four for All State Teams

State College had 4 players selected for the All State teams. Michael Gaul who was selected for the first team writers team and coaches team as a linebacker, John Zipf who was coaches first team punter, Gino Pighetti who was coaches first team Long Snapper, and Tyler Salazer who was coaches second team Wide Receiver.

After reaching out to the players for comment Gaul had this to say” It’s an honor for sure, and I appreciate everyone who gave me time for consideration. With that being said it’s only a small step for the bigger picture”

I also heard from John Zipf on how it felt to make All State “Its pretty awesome going from soccer to being all state for football in a year” “Also Gino is the best snapper in the state”

Gino Pighetti on how he felt making the team “I’m extremely grateful wouldn’t have been able to do it without my teammates especially John Zipf he always pushed me to be better.”

Finally Ty Salazer said this when asked what it meant to him “Yeah, it certainly means a lot, it feels good to get that recognition, but it also pushes me to keep trying to achieve more, as I am only a junior.”
