Coach Tim Storino says “O’Malley Daly is as gifted of any athlete as I’ve seen in my 19 years coaching. He’s a D1 talent. 6’1 220 and runs a 4.58 40 (VT camp) He will handle the bulk of the running game this year and will be a college LB. He has 114 tackles as a 10th grade but dealt with injuries last season. O’Malley is a twin. His sister Mallory is a Univ. of Buffalo basketball commit”.

Why do you play football? 

I play football because I’m good at it,  and it is my way out. 

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY? 

Ray Lewis I love his energy on the field and his hard hitting defense. 

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain: 

When I slammed a Woodland Hills player at the goal line, my first game back from a broken collar bone 

What was last year’s season like for you? 

 I want to say good, but it was a little challenging, I had a lot of brothers leave and a new coach! So I learned a lot! 

What are your goals for this coming season? 

First team offense and defense 1000 yards and 150 tackles. 

Who is the best player you ever lined up against? 

Westin house QB Keyshawn Morsillo

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game? 

Ohio state game 

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport? 

Steelers 

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched? 

2022 Backyard brawl

What would you do to improve the recruiting process? 

Focus on nothing but football and for coaches to understand my mentality.

Describe what the perfect teammate is 

a perfect teammate is someone who puts his teammates ahead of themselves and wants the best for the team and never puts himself before the team

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community good Attitude towards the team: 

It’s good for the community because it’s about comrade and brings a community together! I’m very competitive so it’s a learning process, I know what I need to do, I just gotta do it. 

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen? 

Hurdle someone to score a touchdown 

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY? 

My mother is the strongest person I know. She raised 7 kids all by herself. 

What is your favorite practice drill? 

Linebacker drills 

What is your least favorite practice drill? 

Actually none 

Preseason Two a Days are: 

Rough 

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why? 

My sister Delaney or my twin Mallory! 

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what activity do you go to and why? 

Drawings; I’m good at drawing and it calms my anxiety. 

What is your favorite football memory to date? 

Winning the championship when I played for Brentwood Dukes with my QB1 sister Mallory! 

What is your favorite play to run? 

Any run play 

Is a hot dog a sandwich?

 No it is not 

Music of choice: 

Rap but my favorite is Sza or Tems

Best thing you ever got from a teammate? Why?  

Encouragement from an upper class man will hess, when I was a transfer. 

That support clarified I mattered! 

Best Pizza topping? 

Pepperoni 

Which one? Sheetz or Wawa  

Definitely Getgo 

What is your favorite vacation destination? 

Ocean City MD

Do you remember what the first football game you saw was? 

I was part of it- one of my earliest games I went to score and I was running into the end zone and got a helmet to helmet hit, fell down and my mom jumped the fence and stood on the sidelines- not to fix me but let me know she was there. I knew then I loved hard hitting football and my mom had my back!
