Coach says: “Jamison has been a starter at middle linebacker for three years, and also was tremendous as a blocking back last season. He is gritty, tough and brings a no-nonsense attitude. He tackles very well and will be a leader of our team.”
LET’S GET TO KNOW JAMISON
How long have you been playing football, and why do you continue to play?
I have been playing football for 12 years. I continue to play the sport because I truly enjoy it and it gives me a lot of opportunities to glorify God through hard work and doing well in games.
What is your favorite part of playing football for Penn-Trafford?
There are a lot of things that I love about Penn-Trafford football. To start, it is awesome how the team is able to build such a strong bond throughout the year and display it on the football field. I am also grateful for our fans and boosters who support us constantly, they truly make the experience so much more exciting and enjoyable.
How do you think your role and style will change from last year to this year?
My role as a leader is going to have to take a step up from last year given that I am now a senior and that I have a lot more responsibility looking after my teammates. In regards to my style of play, there are a lot of things I can improve on from last year and I am working on fixing them throughout this offseason so I can be even more efficient next season.
Do you have any game day superstitions?
If I think one thing will happen, the opposite happens, so I hope for what I don’t want to happen.
What are some of your goals for the 2025 season?
I want to get over 105 tackles, at least 10 sacks, score at least one touchdown, cause a lot of turnovers, and most of all, I want to win a state championship.

Jesus

God is my biggest motivation. Although I fail him a lot, I still try to glorify him as much as I can no matter what I am doing.
How do you spend your time when not playing football?
I spend a lot of time working out as well as playing video games and hanging out with my friends.
If you were to go pro in any sport other than football, what would it be and why?
I would go pro in dodgeball. It is the sport I am second best at and I play as hard as I can every time I play.
