Awards/Accolades: Second Team All-Conference Center

Ben will be a 3-year starter at the center this upcoming season. He also has a year as a starter on the defensive line under his belt. This past season he was honored as a 2nd team Greater Allegheny Conference Center selection.

Why do you play football? I play the game of football because I love the game of football & the relationships that you build within the sport. I also love to hit people.

What is your GPA? Currently I have a 4.212 GPA.

What schools have offered or expressed interest in you thus far? I have talked with both Grove City College & Denison University.

What do you anticipate majoring in upon enrolling in college? Finance/and or accounting

What is your favorite class? Personal Finance

Favorite All-Time Athlete & why? Jason Kelce because he is one of the greatest centers of all time.

Favorite moment of your HS career thus far? My chase down tackle 20 yards down field against Kiski.

What was the 2022 season like for you? It was difficult losing both of our guards at the beginning of the season due to injury, but it was an opportunity to learn and build with a younger group.

What are your 2023 individual & team goals? My individual goal is to be named first team all-conference. Our team goal is to make the playoffs.

Favorite all time game to watch? My favorite game to rewatch is our win against Plum my sophomore year.

Favorite meal? My favorite meal is homemade stromboli.

Favorite play to run & why? Inside zone because the success of the play is dependent upon my block.

Hobbies outside of sports? I like to play video games, hang out with my friends, spend time with family & sports cards.

What do you fear the most? Death

Who is the most inspirational person(s) in your life & why? My grandparents because they support me and encourage me to do the best in everything that I do.

Pre-Game music consist of? AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, etc.

Favorite teammate and why? Carson Beatty because he made the switch from TE to OL/DL. I can rely on him throughout the game, and he is willing to do anything to help the team win.

Did you play little league football? Yes, I played pee wee football in the 6th grade.

What should people know about Indiana the HS, the football coaches & players? Even though we aren’t the biggest school, and our roster isn’t very big, those who do play are committed & passionate about the game.

If you could meet anyone famous dead or alive, who would it be and why? Tim Tebow because not only is he a great athlete but he also is strong in his faith and gives back to his community.
