Do you believe being a left-handed quarterback gives you an advantage against defense?

Personally, I don’t think it really matters what hand you are at QB. If you can sling it, you can sling it.

As a freshman, you threw for over 2,500 yards and 23 touchdowns. That is impressive. What must you improve in order to improve your numbers this season?

I had way too many interceptions this year. I really have to improve on my decision-making. I’ve been working on it more this off-season.

What goals have you set not only for yourself but for the team too?

I don’t necessarily set goals for myself. I just want to win. A d9 championship would be amazing for our guys.

Which sport do you believe you are the best at? Baseball or football?

I think I’m a little bit better at baseball than football because I’ve been playing baseball my whole life. I’ve only played football for 2 years.

In watching some of your Hudl highlights, you have the uncanny ability to know when to throw the ball, know when to run it, and, showing some smarts, you also know when to slide after scrambling. What preparations go into making all these things look so easy for such a young player?

Just trusting myself is a big part. Some people don’t have trust in themselves and other players, but I have complete trust in not only myself but my teammates. They make my decisions easier for me.

What is your favorite and least favorite part of practice?

Just being able to be with my guys. The guys around me are my life for real. There isn’t really anything that I dislike about practice.

If the game is on the line, what play are you hoping your coach calls?

Something that’ll score a Touchdown. I trust Coach V so much that I don’t ask why he called a certain play.

What was the most satisfying part of last season, along with the one thing you wish you could change about the season?

Getting to finally step onto the field for the first time ever for week 1. That felt amazing. I think if some of our guys would have stuck together just a little bit more, we would have won a couple more games.

What is the one food you enjoy eating that most others do not?

I’m a big sushi guy. I’ve loved sushi my whole life. I’ve been eating since my dad played pro ball, and we would go out and eat sushi when I was little.

Where is the best place in your town to eat?

We have multiple places in town to get sushi so I could really go anywhere to get it.

Note- Brayden goes to Dubois Central Catholic they co-op with Brockway for football.
