Jaden Sumpter is looking to add to his 2 seasons in a row with 1000 yards rushing. In 2022 season he only played 6 games due injury but that isn’t slowing the incoming senior back down.
Head coach Rick Knox says “Jayden has great vision and has elite acceleration when he hits the hole. His legs are always churning and is hard to tackle. He is a natural running back and is primed to have a huge senior season. Is also a true student athlete evidenced by his Ivy offers”.
Why do you play football?
I play football to build character and because I love the game. To build relationships and connections. Most importantly to make it out
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Cam Newton I love his game and his personality he’s a great person.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
I don’t really have one i remembered I every play is my favorite
What was last years season like for you?
It was good until it wasn’t. I was on a good track doing great things for my team until I separated my Ac joint
What are your goals for this coming season?
Break 2 school records
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Best player I ever lined up against is probably Eric Gardener we played against him Ng vs Wood and he had our offense LOCKED
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
All of them honestly I wanna explore
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
I don’t have one honestly I go with players I like so I don’t give loyalty to the tema
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
My favorite game was probably my game against Danville last season at Ng to get us into the final 4 it was great vibes and we played good on all cylinders of the game
What would you do to improve the recruiting process?
Anything really I wanna be great so I just want schools to not look over me because they’ll regret it if I have to play against them
Describe what the perfect teammate is
They hold accountability and always there for the team no matter on or off the field
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
Gets people off the streets especially in this dangerous city I live in where people die everyday to the streets
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Win a state Championship mostly because there is no states in the inter ac but I wish I could’ve got one before I left Neumann
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
Nobody I look up and admire myself

No favorite no least favorite they all are mid

My whole family are my biggest fans you’ll see if u come to a game I always have the most people in the stands

Playing the game I feel relaxed and chill
What is your favorite football memory to date?
Around November of 2016. Winning regional championships making it to nationals for pop Warner
What is your favorite play to run?
Green Bay west or east

I like all music but alternative pop is my favorite genre and Uzi is my favorite rapper
Best thing you ever got from a teammate? Why?
Probably a touchdown they the best things to get from a teammate

What is your favorite vacation destination?
California I only been once but I was smiling the whole trip
Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?
My cousins football game he’s the reason I started playing in the first place.
