Tropical Storm Nicole wreaking havoc on playoff schedules

Tagged under: News, Playoffs

| November 8, 2022

We’re in the meat of playoff season and with many games scheduled for Friday night, mother nature is interupting the picnic. More than two inches of rain is expected to fall Friday afternoon and evening leading to potential flash flooding in many areas. That forecast is already affecting local high school schedules throughout the state. All of the District 4 & District 11 games have been moved to either Thursday night or Saturday, Most of District 2 is changed and we just saw our first date changes in District 12 & the InterAc league.

With a trip to move on in the playoffs on the line, many schools are choosing to give their athletes, the best opportunity to compete. District 1 is expected to make a decision Wednesday for their games. For now, we will keep you all updated on the changes. To see if your game has changed, go to our master schedule page. Click the image below to enter the master schedule, choose November 9-15 & all districts or just your teams district, then click go to see the updated playoff schedules.  Keep checking back throughout the day on Wednesday as there is a good possibility that many more games will be moved to either Thursday or Saturday.
