FINDLAY, OH — Pine-Richland opened its 2025 campaign on the road with a statement, rolling past Findlay, 38-7, in a one-sided Week Zero matchup.

The Rams established control early, going 71 yards in nine plays. Senior running back Mac Miller capped off the drive with a 10-yard touchdown run, and junior kicker Landon Brown added a 36-yard field goal to give Pine-Richland a 10-0 lead after one quarter.

In the second quarter, junior quarterback Aaron Strader connected with senior wide receiver Grayson Stulak on a six-yard touchdown pass, extending the lead to 17-0. After a Findlay punt pinned Pine-Richland at their own nine-yard line, the Rams quickly went to work. Strader found senior wideout Jay Timmons for a 39-yard gain, then connected with him again later in the drive for a 12-yard touchdown, pushing the lead to 24-0 at halftime. With the offense in rhythm, the Rams’ defense dominated, holding the Trojans to minus-four yards rushing in the first half.

Findlay put together a nine-minute drive to start the third quarter, but a fumble on the Rams’ 11-yard line ended the threat. Pine-Richland marched down field, and Miller capped the series with a 1-yard touchdown run on the first play of the fourth quarter to make it 31-0.

The Trojans finally got on the board when sophomore quarterback Bishop Pfister connected deep with junior Carter Imke for an 81-yard score midway through the final period, but Pine-Richland answered late with quarterback Cooper Stiscak scoring on a 12-yard run to close out the win.

Miller finished with 127 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, while Strader accounted for 242 yards and two passing scores. Defensively, the Rams controlled the line of scrimmage throughout, limiting Findlay’s ground attack and forcing mistakes.

Pine-Richland (1-0) will travel to Central Catholic (0-1) next Friday for a high-profile Week 1 matchup as they look to stay undefeated.
