From the opening kickoff to the final whistle, Pine-Richland left little doubt in a 63–19 rout of Penn Hills.

The Rams, fresh off a 60-point win against Fox Chapel, continued their dominance on offense and set the tone early with junior quarterback Aaron Strader capped the opening drive with a 5-yard touchdown run to make it 7–0.

The second quarter saw the Rams’ offense come alive. Strader added a 15-yard touchdown run to extend the lead to 14–0 with 10:52 left in the half. Just moments later, disaster struck for the Indians when quarterback Devin Harris was stripped in the end zone, and junior Chris Lentz recovered the fumble for a touchdown, quickly making it 21–0.

Penn Hills briefly showed signs of life when Disere Green-Lindsay broke free for a 59-yard touchdown run, trimming the deficit to 21–7. However, Pine-Richland responded immediately. On the following kickoff, senior Jalen Neals returned it 75 yards for the touchdown, restoring the Rams’ momentum and pushing the lead to 28–7.

Strader continued to shine through the air, connecting with junior wide receiver Khalil Taylor for a pair of touchdown passes—a 5-yarder with 4:16 remaining and a 21-yard strike just before halftime—giving Pine-Richland a commanding 42–7 lead at the break.

The second half saw more fireworks from both sides. Penn Hills’ Doryan Peay opened the scoring with a 71-yard touchdown run, to make it 42–13. Pine-Richland wasted no time answering, though, as Taylor returned the ensuing kickoff 47 yards for his third touchdown of the night.

In the fourth quarter, Penn Hills quarterback Jayson Taylor connected with Carter Bonner on an 82-yard touchdown pass, but the conversion attempt failed, cutting the score to 49–19. Pine-Richland closed the game in dominant fashion, with senior Carter McKissick punching in a 2-yard touchdown run, followed by another 2-yard score from quarterback Cooper Stiscak, sealing the 63–19 victory.

Strader led the way for top-ranked Pine-Richland, throwing two touchdown passes and running for two more. McKissick added 82 yards and a score as the Rams’ ground game piled up 300 rushing yards. On defense, Colten Andrighetti anchored the front with three tackles for loss, and the unit held Penn Hills to just 8:19 of total possession time.

With the win, Pine-Richland improves to 6–1 and will look to carry its momentum into next week’s matchup at Greater Latrobe. Penn Hills, now 2–5, will aim to bounce back when it travels to Mount Lebanon.
