About the Saints: Coach Albie Crosby’s unit has won 10 straight games but hasn’t played in almost 2 weeks, winning the D12 3A championship by forfeit over Kipp Dubois.

Neumann Goretti players to watch: This season, QB Mekhi Wharton threw for 1,255 yards with 13 TD’s and ran for 149 yards and 2 TD’s. Leading the ground game for the Saints is RB Terrence Page who ran for 615 yards and 7 TD’s. For the receivers, WR Kahmir Prescott had 24 receptions for 492 yards and 5 TD’s. Defensively, C’Andre Hopper and Daniel Adefolarin lead the Saints.

 

About the Cavaliers: Head Coach Terry Gallagher’s team is on a 7-game win streak, with their only loss a narrow one to 5A power Delaware Valley. Prep heads into the game off of a 45-14 win over Western Wayne for the D2 3A championship.

Scranton Prep Players to watch: This season, QB Louis Paris threw for 1,099 yards and 16 TD’s and ran for 440 yards and 10 TD’s. RB Quinten Palermo lead the Cavalier ground game with 911 yards and 14 total TD’s. WR Liam Barrett had 597 receiving yards and 11 total TD’s, and TE Andrew Summa had 363 yards and 5 TD’s. On defense, there were a number of key contributors with Reese Tanner and Nyeem Gonzalez leading the way for Prep.
