ProTime Pick’em Challenge Reaches the Halfway Mark of the Regular Season: The PROS are on FIRE

MATT IS ON FIRE 18-2 FOR THE WEEK 76-24 FOR THE SEASON!!!!

 As we reach the mid-way point of the regular season portion of the ProTime Pick’em Challenge one of our Pros is on absolute fire. Matt had an incredible 18 winning picks this week, against a measly 2 loses. For the year Matt tops the standings with a 76 and 24 record. The Pros as a group also kept their winning ways going, seven of the Pros went 16-4 for the week, which is usually good enough to top the charts for the week. There are a gaggle of Pros within easy striking distance of Matt for first place honor, Mr. SOL Mayhem with a 16-4 week slid to second place just one win behind Matt, the OG and two-time defending Champion ProTime Phil is one more back, Jared is one behind ProTime Phil and lurking just five back is the Billy the Bossman, Polka Alex and the King of Delco Willie. Elon ED tumbled into the basement with a 11-9 week, he now sits with 58 wins, 18 off the pace set by Matt.

Let’s look at the numbers for the first half of the regular season. The Pros have a cumulative record of 889-411 a mind-blowing winning percentage of 68.4 %. All of the Pros are well over 50%, even Elon ED with his crazy algorithms has a 58% winning percentage.

As the second half of the regular season there are many questions that have to be answered: Can Matt continue his scorching pace, will Mayhem be able to battle and remain near the top like he has all season. When will ProTime Phil stop toying with the Pros and take his rightful place on the top of the table?

My predictions for the second half of the regular season, which hopefully are better than my game picks, are that history will repeat itself. ProTime Phil will soar to the top, Mayhem will stay within shouting distance, Bossman Billy will take his late season nose dive, Matt will keep a blistering pace making it difficult for a Threepeat, yours truly will surge to the top only to flame out and Elon ED will be sitting alone in the basement come the end of the regular season.

The Joes had an OKAY week this week, no one approached Matt for the weekly championship but, a couple of Joes dropped below 50/50 for the week. Next week we will look a little deeper into the Joes guessing skills, and take a look at whether a Joe can overtake the Pros.
