NINE WEEKS DOWN

As we tally up the results of week 9 of the ProTime Pick’em Challenge it has become abundantly clear that Billy the Bossman is going to take the regular season title. With only one week to go in the regular season Billy leads with 81 wins, Alex is second just 2 behind with 78 wins, Protime and Hollywood are one more back at 77, with yours truly fading like an Earl Shibe paint job to 76 correct guesses. The race to the bottom has tightened up to just one win difference, between Mason Dawg at 67 and Dan at 8 wins. There will be 12 fresh games on the docket this week, which will determine the regular season champion.

This week’s individual title was a tie between Northeastern experts Hollywood and John K with an impressive 10 wins a piece. Hollywood has stormed back from a very slow start to close within 4 points of first place. Dwelling in the cellar this week was yours truly with a pitiful mere 7 correct guesses. Full transparency, since I was trailing the Bossman by a couple with two weeks to go I thought I’d take some chances on a couple longshots, unfortunately much like Trey Turner and Nick Castellanos, they didn’t come through in the clutch.

This week brings on the end of the regular season, your last chance to fine tune your Ouija board, getting ready for the 6 weeks of playoffs that will determine the State Champions and the ProTime Pick’em Challenge Champion.
