Fifty-Eight Games Left in ProTime’s Pick’em Challenge
As week three of the playoffs begin ProTime’s Pick’em Challenge begins to wind down, there are only 58 picks left in the contest. We will also throw in a tie breaker, the final total score of the 6A Championship game. After the first twelve weeks of the contest it’s become a three horse race, the Secretariat of Pennsylvania high school football writers, two-time defending champion Protime Phil (185 wins), along with Matt (181) and Mayhem (181) have broken away from the field. They have opened up double digit leads over the rest of the Pros. Matt has spent almost the entire contest in either first or second place, Mayhem-King of the SOL, has been in the top tier all season and is my dark horse to win it all!
Looking at the standings the race to the basement seems to be a two-man race between basement dweller Tristin (145) and NEPA (150), but lurking not to far from the basement is DELCO Willie (160) and Elon ED (158). As we all have witnessed Willie can finish in the top three or bottom three any week, the only thing more inconsistent than Willie’s football guesses is his strike zone! Elon Ed maybe to busy in Washington with that other Elon and Vivek figuring out how to cut the budget. Rumor has it that Elon Ed’s first recommendation is to nuke GoDADDY!
The Joes are coming off their best week ever, with a couple Joes tying the Pros at 17-3. Could this be the week where the Joes finally overtake the Pros…..I doubt it!
