PLAYOFFS WE’RE TALKIN PLAYOFFS
As the second season begins ProTime’s Pick’em Challenge the battle for the entire seasons title is a dogfight between two-time defending Champion Protime Phil, Matt and Mayhem. In the second tier are Jared, Bossman Billy yours truly and Willie. In sports, especially high school football anything can happen, if someone’s Ouija Board gets hot they can make a run for the title. Of course, we also have a Battle for the Basement, where Tristin and NEPA have been sinking to the cellar for weeks.
With the Challenge moving into the playoff portion of the tournament we will start to see more contests between better know teams giving our Pros a little less of an advantage over the Joes who frankly probably have never heard of a good portion of our regular season teams. A couple week ago the Challenge had four games that featured teams with no wins.
The Joes got close last week, when VilRid tied the OG Protime Phil for the weekly honors. The Joes will have six more bites at the apple this season, my bet is while they will have more bites the Joes will not actually taste the apples
