Shenanigans on Week One: The Protime Pick’em results for Week 1 are in!

SUDDENLY BILLY and ALEX TAKE THE LEAD
Late Saturday the first week of the PROTIME Pick’em Challenge was seemingly in the books, with ProTime Phil taking his rightful place on the highest perch, with Mayhem cozied up next to him. Then after the books were reopened, Bossman Billy and Polka Alex knocked ProTime Phil and Mayhem down a peg, as they ascended to the top, with 15 wins a piece. ProTime and Mayhem are tied at third with 14 wins to their credit. There was one contestant from the “PRO” division that was not affected by the changes, the Elon Musk of Tioga County our computer whiz Ed remains buried at the bottom with only 6 correct guesses. Elon/ED is the computer geek who somehow keeps PAFootballNews.com alive on the Net. He has the distinction of being the only scribe with a losing record. There will be a full investigation into the dropping of two of the games(for the record I was 2-0, while Billy and Alex were 0-2) hopefully I can get to the bottom of the Shenanigans.
In the non-Pro divisions our readers showed some real expertise and knowledge of high school football across the Commonwealth. The readers went 10-5-3 as a group. Leading the charge for the readers is “The Pick Assassin” who chalked up 14 winners against only 4 defeats. Several other reader/guessers were able to pick up 13/12 wins.
With week one down and fifteen to go, it will be a long season with ProTime Phil always near the top, with some of his peers battling it out for the season title. Both the Pros and the Joes were unanimous with their pick of Brockway. Remember to get your picks in early for next week!
