South Allegheny Defeats South Park 56-7 (Photo Gallery)

The Gladiators of South Allegheny traveled to South Park to take on the defending WPIAL 2A champions. They opened the game with a dominant ground attack, driving the length of the field and capping it off with a goal-to-go touchdown from #6 Joey Gamret, who finished the night with four rushing scores. South Allegheny controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, and the scoreboard reflected their dominance. Aside from a few big plays and penalties, the Gladiators consistently forced three-and-outs, spending much of the night in the Eagles’ backfield. By halftime, the score stood at 42–7, triggering a running clock for the entire second half.
