Key Newcomers
Gabe Hicks 6’1″ 180 (soph) and Mason Miller 5’10” 135 (soph) both saw reps on the defensive side last year but will be competing for the QB spot this year.
Sincere Strimpel 6’4″ 230 (Sr) transferred this winter from Detroit and was highly recruited there, played DE and TE, ran a 4.6 -40 and is very strong. Excited to have him on the team.
Last year a number of freshman saw time on the varsity team, this year as sophomores they will need to fill in, especially on the OL.
Sophs
Gary Allan 5’10” 230
Blaze Sensinger 6’3″ 250
Josiah Wilson 6’4″ 270
Jamiere WIlliams 6’0″ 210
Devon Green 5’7″ 160
Chris Chhern 5’9″ 190
Mike Dichiara 6’3″ 215
What does your offense need to improve on from last year?
Offensively we need consistency and to control the ball. Last year we lived on the big plays, this year we need to live on controlling the LOS and being more ball control oriented. We need to get the ball in the hands of Watson at WR, and Oister and Neely at RB. We lost 8 starters on offense. Sophomore class needs to step in those roles.
What does your defense need to improve on from last year
Defensively we need to continue to be aggressive and play with an attitude that we have been known for at Pottstown. We are excited to have Dave Bodolus join the staff as the DC and he will have to replace 7 starters on the defensive side.
