The girls flag season is slowly coming to an end. Playoffs for respected areas loom. Here’s what we have this week for our recap:

Pennridge Girls Flag Football pulled a 2-1 record this past week with wins against Souderton by a score of 63-40 and Quakertown 33-13.  The lone loss came against a very good North Penn team 45-26.
The game vs Souderton on Monday 4/20 was a shootout to say the least, some of the eye opening numbers for the lady rams that day include- Gabriella Howley with 18 Catches, 5 TDs, 4 1- pt conversions and 1- 2 pt conversion/ Arianne Lauf with 6 catches and a TD/ Molly Fannon and Emma Shaeffer also had 7 and 6 catches apiece.  QB Madison Lapp also had a stat line to remember with 7 TD passes and 1 rushing TD.  Defensively from Monday- Emma Shaeffer led with 10 flag pulls, Gabriella Howley, Arianne Lauf, and Molly Fannon all had 6 flag pulls each.  Madison Lapp, playing safety, had 4 flag pulls, 2 INTs, and 1 INT return for a TD.
The week ended for the Lady Rams with a game at Quakertown’s Alumni Field.  Arianne Lauf, Gabriella Howley, and Peyton Rabinowitz all found the endzone on Friday.  Peyton Rabinowitz also ended a couple panther drives on defense with 2 INTs of her own.  Coming out of halftime, the score was only 20-13 lady rams, Gabriella Howley gave Pennridge some breathing room with a pick six to make the score 27-13.  Madison Lapp played another solid game finding the openings against a panther defense who had very good speed.  A shout out has to go to Ella Ricci, Ella Kocher, Mylia Leonidas, and Maddy Allebach who all stepped up and took on roles on both sides of the ball that they don’t usually do.  The Lady Rams finished the league season 6-6 in the SOL Continental.
Pennridge has 3 games left to close out its season- Monday 4/28 at Gwynedd Mercy Academy, Tuesday 4/29 at Home vs Villa Marie, and Thursday 5/7 at Palisades.

Neshaminy Lady Skins played a tough CR North squad and came away with a decisive win on Senior Night, then beat the Pennsbury Falcons in a game to determine the best team in the league. On to the playoffs.

Coach Nick breaks down the week for OLSH: It was a great week for our team as we had the opportunity to participate in NFL Draft Flag football events on Tuesday at AHN Montour in Coraopolis, where our girls participated in drills, skills, and passing competitions. On Friday, one of our standout freshman got to participate at Acrisure Stadium in the College football flag showcase in front of college flag coaches, Jules Goshen, where she caught the eye of all the coaches there, including the University of Michigan, John Carroll, Point Park, Slippery Rock, Allegheny, Agnes Scott(Georgia), and Point Park. It was a great experience where 80 top flag football athletes were able to showcase themselves to the next level on a grand stage.

We also have a few stat leaders going into our final 3 games of our season, Jules Goshen leads in interceptions with 5, Natalie Turcios leads in TDs with 5, Charlotte Gauntner leads in tackles, and Reagan Kavals leads in sacks and QB pressures.
