LET’S GET TO KNOW DANIEL

Who is your favorite player in any sport?

DS:  I’m a wrestling guy, so my favorite is Gable Steveson.  He’s a heavyweight, he’s dominant…I just love the way he wrestles.

Who is your favorite team, any sport?

DS:  Miami Dolphins

Talk a little bit about last season, how it went, and about your goals for this season–

DS:  Last year, we lost in the second round — obviously disappointing — so we want to make it to the District Championship this year.

What do you like to do when you aren’t playing sports?

DS:  Schoolwork, preparing for SAT’s.  Lots of stuff coming up, I want to get ready for it all.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

DS:  I love the beach, especially Virginia Beach.

What is your favorite sports movie?

DS:  I’m gonna say The Blind Side.

Who is the person you most look up to, like a mentor?

DS:  I gotta go with my dad — he played football and wrestled in high school.  He’s been pushing me since I was kid.

What is your favorite food?

DS:  Beef and rice, my go to bowl meal

What is the first football game you ever saw?

DS:  First game I saw was Dolphins vs Patriots when I was a kid.  The Dolphins beat them too, I was so excited since that hardly ever happens.

Gatorade, Powerade, Body Armour or Prime?

DS:  I’m gonna go with Gatorlyte.
