Protime Climbs to the Top of the Pick’em Challenge

PANEL STAYS ON FIRE

Well that didn’t take long! After week four Protime has elevated to the top of the table of the ProTime Pick’em Challenge. With the sage of Pennsylvania football going 9 out of 12 on his weekly picks, his season win total has raised to 35 enough to take a 1 game lead on his closest pursuer. There is a  three-way tie for second place at 34 wins between yours truly, let’s face it everyone knew my leading the contest for the first 3 weeks was just a mirage, off the strength of 10 winners this week Mayhem and Alex also have 34 wins.  Overall the writers guessed correctly on 141 of 168 picks, an impressive .839 winning clip. For the year the crack prognosticators are guessing correctly on 2/3 contests 445/672.

This week we will get deeper into league games and rivalry games which should test the Ouija Boards of the panel. As we reach the halfway pole of the regular season, the big question is how far Protime will pull away from the balance of the pack. Perhaps this is the year that Protime loses his Crown, to one of the worthy challengers.
