PROTIME vs ALEX for the CHAMPIONSHIP

It’s Championship week! Seven Championship Titles will be won at the Chap this weekend, 6 PIAA football teams will be crowned as well as PFN’s ProTime Pick’em Challenge’s Champion. Entering the final 6 games of the season Protime Phil, the OG of Pennsylvania high school football prognostication, (hell the contest is named after him) leads with 134 correct predictions, Hollywood and Alex are tied for second place with 132 wins. Once this week’s picks were submitted with Protime and Hollywood only disagreeing on one winner, Hollywood can not catch Protime. In the case of Protime vs Alex they differ on 3 selections, if Alex were to sweep all 3 games he would overtake Protime and be presented the Championship Belt.

The battle for a spot on the podium comes down to the third spot on the podium as well where the three will stand  on the podium, Protime Phil and Hollywood have already secured their spot on the podium, the third spot will be between Alex and Jared. Interestingly Alex can either land at the top of the podium or be a spectator, like the rest of us clowns, watching the podium ceremony.

The race to escape the cellar has the most twists of the Challenge, Masondawg who has dwelled in the basement all season, has a chance to climb his way out of the cellar and escape relegation. The other “experts” facing relegation are Dan and Tristan, they lead Masondawg by 2 wins. Unsurprisingly the picks from the bottom trio are all over the board making it impossible to try and cipher the possibilities of who will be relegated. The only two winners that triumvirate agree on the weekend’s first and last game: they pick Steel High and the Prep to roll to the Title. Making Fort Cherry and North Allegheny the most favored underdogs of all-time!

It’s going to be a great weekend at the Chap, some of the combatants were expected to be at the Chap, others are new to the state finals providing some of the most interesting matchups in high school football.
