SUDDENLY IT’S TIGHT AT THE TOP AND THE BOTTOM

With just one full week of games and Championship week to go, PFN’s ProTime Pick’em Challenge has turned into a horse race at the top of the table and the bottom. In the race to unseat the OG Protime, the four top pickers are only separated by 4 wins, while in race to climb out of the cellar only 1 win is needed to tie a couple of guessers.  With Protime having a subpar win total of only 8 this week the race tightened up, unfortunately for our second place picker Hollywood, he also only had 8 wins on the week and was unable to gain any ground on Protime. Protime and Hollywood sit one and two in the Challenge with 123 and 122 wins respectively. On the strength of a Challenge best 10 wins Alex, with 119 total wins, has closed to within 3 wins of Protime. After a respectable 9 win week yours truly has 115 winning picks, just 4 behind Protime, with time running out.

In the race to not be the cellar dweller, MasonDawg’s 6 wins this week’s brought him to within 1 win of escaping last place. Some may argue that the real reason for MasonDawg’s possibility of climbing out of the cellar is more due to Dan and Tristan’s week worst winning guesses of only 5! Either way the race out of the cellar will probably go on until the 6A Champion is crowned.

Once again, thanks to Alex’s 10 wins, no reader was able to best PFN’s prognosticators and take home the much coveted PFN prize package. Kudos to readers Sharpie, Frank the Tank and Hitman who guessed correctly 10 out of 12 times this week, equaling Alex. So close, but yet no dice!
