DOWN GOES MARCUS-BILLY ROCKETS TO THE TOP

Following a Trap Week that didn’t disappoint, the crew was hoping this week would be Comeback Week…it was not. Leading the charge to the bottom was yours truly Marcus and Jared collecting a pitiful 5 wins out of 12 games. The panel as a whole was only able to go 103 for 168, a 61% winning percentage, barley improving over last week’s paltry 93 winning guesses. The season average for wins by the panel has been 117, leaving the last two weeks an amazing 38 games under the average weekly win total. Unexpectedly helping the race to the bottom was Protime Phil who was only able to scratch together 6 wins, his lowest total in the challenge’s first two years.

Now the bad news, Bossman Billy was the second best guesser this week with 9 wins, giving him a total of 62 wins and a 3 win lead over second place Alex for the ProTime Pick’em Challenge. With 10 wins Mason took the weekly title, just how strange is this? For the first 6 weeks of the Challenge Mason had a total of 41 wins, at 51 wins for the year he is still at the bottom of the table, but closing in on our computer guru/geek ED.

Let’s hope that next week is indeed Comeback Week or at least Bossman falls from the top week. When our picks come out, make your picks and see how you do against the top “expert” writers coving HS football in Pennsylvania.
