PLAYOFFS? YOUR TALK’IN PLAYOFFS!

To a high school football geeks, like the writers of PaFootballNews.com, this week is like Christmas, Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July all rolled into one. IT’S PLAYOFF TIME BABY! The last ten weeks of the greatest sport known to man has been a rush, but there is nothing like the first time you get your hands on the statewide PIAA Championship Brackets, it’s better than March Madness bracket show, it’s better than the World Cup draw. Pouring over the seeding, building the possible paths to District titles, then on to a state title, there is nothing like it. That brings us to a new wrinkle in PFN’s ProTime Pick’em Challenge where you the fans can test your prognostication skills against the best team of Pennsylvania high school “experts” ever assembled. Do you think you have the metal to go against Protime Phil, the undisputed OG of clairvoyant of Pa football or will you set your sites lower and try to match wits with MasonDawg? Either way now is the time to make your picks public, for all the world to see. Who knows even Luxy might commit his picks to paper!

As the second season begins Protime has taken his rightful place at the top of the table, in a three-way tie with Hollywood and Billy, there is a three-way bottleneck for fourth place between Alex, Jared and yours truly. The regular’s season had 120 games, the six week slog to the state title will include 66 more games for this august panel to guess wrong.
