Trap Week Does Not Disappoint

Week six of the PFN ProTime Pick’em Challenge was dubbed TRAP WEEK because of the seemingly easy picks that were on the docket, those “easy picks” turned week  6 of the lowest winning percentage ever in the Challenge. Coming into week 6 the panel was cruising along at a 70% winning clip, this week the panel was barely able to have a winning record picking 93 winners out of a possible 168 games. Of course while most of the panel was floundering Protime Phil, yours truly Marcus and shockingly Willie went 9 for 12. The nine wins propelled me back to the top of the table, tied with the Bossman Billy. Protime Phil, shot back into third place with Alex.

Obviously part of the reason the panels picks were so bad is there must have been some satellite and/or computer glitch. Ed, our resident computer savant, must have put in the wrong algorithm and Tristan of TV fame, were only able to scrape together 4 wins, out of 12 guesses.  The ultimate trap game was Erie Cathedral Prep going against Erie McDowell, the panel was unanimous in their selection of Prep, so of course McDowell was the victor. This week there will be 12 fresh games for the panel to pick, maybe this week will be Comeback Week….but I doubt it.
